The opening scene of Mark Zuckerberg getting dumped by his girlfriend Erika takes place in The Thirsty Scholar Pub. It sets up the self-absorbed character of Zuckerberg. Interestingly, Harvard University didn't allow filming on campus, so this pub in Somerville served as a substitute location.
